FAQ

- How does this machine differ from the Erne? Aside from being half the price, our machine is identical with the exception of the battery. We've chosen to provide an external, high capacity battery that can be easily charged (without needing to move the whole unit), distributes the weight (easier to carry) and easy to have a spare on hand (great for clubs) since it's hot-swappable.
- How can you offer the Zenith at such a low price, without sacrificing quality? Our motto across the board is to provide top of the line products without markup to make them accessible, while donating half our proceeds to charity. We don't make a high margin on these machines nor do we spend money on marketing videos, production or sponsorship - but rest assured, it's the same high quality machine as competitors for much less.

We discovered that the Zenith pickleball machine is actually the ERNE machine, for half the price! The only difference we have seen so far is that the Zenith has an external battery pack, whereas we believe that the ERNE has an internal battery pack. Even the training videos for the Zenith are really the ERNE training videos. So, you basically can buy an ERNE without the name on it for $1K, so a really good deal. We have only used the machine once so far, but are very happy so far. The app on the Iphone is easy to use, and the handheld remote has quite a bit of functionality on it, as opposed to just being a simple on/off control like many other systems. The machine is compact enough to fit in the back of my RAV4 with the security screen pulled over the top of it. The extendable handle and wheels make it easy to move around, much like a piece of luggage. The machine offers a large array of options for configuring speed, rep rate, spin, location, etc. The only real negatives we have so far: the spinning wheels that propel the balls grip so hard that they scuff the balls. It may be that all of the pickle machines do this, and we were warned about this so we bought a bunch of cheap balls to just use with the machine. Also, on the Iphone, the bottom configurable is part way off the bottom of the screen, which is something that I would imagine they will correct in a future SW update. And also, the entire machine pivots to change the direction that the ball is pitched, not just the internal mechanism. That means that it essentially warns you where the ball is coming, at least horizontally, rather than surprising you when you set the machine to "random" mode. But all in all, we are thrilled with the machine, and thrilled that we were able to buy a machine that we thought was out of our price range for half off. At around $1K, it is in the same price range as several machines that have significantly less in the way features.
I've played with the titan, erne and now the zenith. this is basically the same functionality/machine/specs as the erne but in stock and way cheaper. been using it to drill my 2hbh and works great for programed drills. everything works great except the lobs took some tuning to not launch too high, but the app control is great. use the remote to start and stop from my pocket. yes the titan is a more advanced machine but it's almost 3x the price and this gets the reps in and is way more portable (fits in my SUV trunk). strongly reccomend.
tried one of these out at my club (rental) by scanning my phone on the machine and firing up preset drills. took a bit of tuning but had it firing consistent shots for fast hands and drives in no time. picked one up after researching and seems to have the same features as the erne and much more than tutor and other machines. so far so good.
Why would I pay over 2k (erne, titan) and wait a month when I got this in a few days and it does the exact same thing. I did a lot of homework and was lucky enough to test one of these locally in LA before pulling the trigger. The titan does have a better app and community drills but it's $2500+ . With code, this comes out to under a grand and is just an amazing little machine.
I'm a 4.0 competitive player and wanted to get practice in when I don't have a partner available. This machine was super easy to set up, carry out of my car (i'm petite and not the strongest), roll on the luggage wheels/handle to the court and start drilling. The app isn't the most intuitive but once you figure it out, it does everything you want it to do including custom and line drills. great little machine. worth every penny.
